Human Teeth - 3D Model

Sometimes you download a model and it doesn't come with teeth. Or perhaps you've created your own character and just need a nice mouth interior to finish them up! This model is a realistic set of human teeth, including the gums and tongue.

PLEASE NOTE: This model does not include any rigging or animations.

Included:

• Realistic human teeth/gums/tongue model
• FBX format
• Five meshes: Upper gums, upper teeth, lower gums, lower teeth, tongue
• 2 LODs* - LOD0: 9164 tris, LOD1: 4468 tris
• UV mapped
• 2048x2048 Textures: Albedo (base color), Metallic (with Smoothness in alpha channel), Normal Map, Ambient Occlusion

* LOD - Level of detail. Game engines can switch between levels of detail if you're close to a model or further away, saving the amount of processing power needed to render the model. You can also just use the lower resolution model if you're targeting older hardware.

How to use:

While you can import the FBX file and textures into a game engine as-is, you'll most likely want to incorporate them into a character model and add rigging. You can import both your character and the teeth/mouth model into the 3D program of your choice, such as the free option, Blender. There are lots of tutorials out on YouTube showing how to rig your model for movement and expressions - and now they've got a nice set of chompers to show off too!

The model is UV mapped and comes with the 4 texture maps needed to create its material. You will need to set up the material in 3D program or game engine of choice and apply it to the teeth. Again, you can find lots of tutorials for how to do this on YouTube!
